Your role

As a Scrum Master, you help the team in upholding scrum values. You constantly improve processes to achieve excellent results. You act as a bridge builder and lead by serving. You guide the team to success with agile principles and values. You collaborate with the agile coach and fellow scrum masters, actively engaging in the scrum master community. You also ensure that the tech-enabling teams at FMO completely adopt the agile way of working.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Ensuring that all Scrum events take place in a positive and productive way.
• Helping the team to continuously improve their processes and practices and ensuring that they align with the Scrum framework.
• Removing any obstacles or impediments that may be affecting the team's productivity or progress.
• Facilitating collaboration and communication between team members and stakeholders.
• Supporting the team in achieving their goals and delivering value to the customer.
• Actively listening to the team's concerns and facilitating constructive discussions and problem-solving.
• Helping the team to become self-managing and cross-functional.
• Proactively contributing to the improvement of the agile operating model in collaboration with other Scrum Masters.

Our offer

Our compensation package based on your experience: 60-80K, annual gross pay depending on your experience.

Your team

As a Scrum Master you will be coaching agile teams. These are cross-functional teams within FMO's tech enabling departments. Next to the teams, you will collaborate closely within a team of other Scrum Masters and an Agile Coach. Leveraging everyone's talents, this team strives to embed Agile practices further into the organization step by step. Within this team, self-reflection and sharing experiences and best practices are key to facilitate continuous learning. This is a collaborative effort that allows to evolve as a team, enhancing organizational agility based on agile principles.

Your background

You bring energy and initiative to leading Scrum Events, fostering teamwork and steering groups toward peak performance. You guide the team(s) towards self-management and stimulate continuous improvement by using your excellent communication skills. You have experience in coaching and mentoring teams as well as individuals. When conflicts emerge, you confidently address them and engage in discussions with both the team and the wider organization. You like to share your cultural sensitivity since you will be working with colleagues from many different nationalities.

You also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years work experience as a Scrum Master.
• Scrum Master certification, for example, PSM I or II, or a similar qualification.
• Proven experience with facilitating and coaching teams in complex environments.
• Good command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
