Our Planning team is looking for a person that will take over planning of one of the categories. This entails gathering all the relevant inputs from internal stakeholders and using tools available (SAP-IBP & PBI) to create and align the demand forecast. Forecast is then fed further to Supply Planning and Finances and used to support decision making process thought Danone.

From Supply Planning point of view this role ensures the right Finished Good supply and inventories are in place to deliver our customers in full, while having minimal write-off cost.

Your main responsibilities

You will excel with perfect analytics and communication to support the growth of the business, transforming all data available in business into a good reliable and accurate forecast for your product portfolio.

From this pivotal position you will be responsible for:

• Leading cross functional monthly Demand Reviews with topline and finance to discuss and understand the business dynamics to deliver an accurate forecast.

• Constant analysis of the sales performance and monitor customer trends in order to make forecast recommendations and mitigate risks on out of stocks and write offs.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of GPS (Global Planning System), by providing information and analysis on volume trends used for financial reporting of the CBU

• Alignment with factories on topics such as demand variations, production planning, stock settings and other recovery or anticipation plans.

• Close collaboration with Customer Service and Sales to ensure availability and alignment in case of out of stocks.

For this role it is important to have a proactive attitude with a strong eye for detail.

In addition, you fit this role perfectly because you are/have:

• A Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or related disciplines;

• Working experience within a Demand planning role, within the food, pharma or medical industry with a minimum of 3 years experience.

• You are an assertive person with high analytical and problem solving skills;

• Good communication capabilities and stakeholder management skills;

• Proficiency in MS Office Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Project/PBI

• Languages: fluency in English mandatory, other languages considered a plus.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

This concerns a temporary assignment for three months with options for extension. The start date is as soon as possible. This assignment can be performed either on a self-employed basis (ZZP) or through secondment via Yacht. Monday and another day you have to work in the office in Rijswijk. The rest is possible hybrid.
